Here we have a superb, very low mileage 987.1 Cayman 2.7 Tiptronic, in classic Arctic Silver withe black Alcantara interior. BD08DEV was factory fitted with the very rare Cayman Aerokit (option code XAM) and also features heated seats, cruise control, ParkAssistant and a perfect set of 19″ SportDesign wheels. The car has covered just 43,400 miles from new, and has a comprehensive service history, with 8 service stamps in the maintenance record, and 6 brake fluid change stamps, backed up with copy invoices and all from recognised Porsche specialists and an OPC. The previous owner has further enhanced the car with a Carnewal exhaust and Zunsport grilles to protect the AC condensers and radiators from damage.

We will prepare the car with a Minor service, brake fluid change and have already fitted a new set of Toyo Proxes Sport tyres. The car is in spectacular condition inside and out, with hardly a mark anywhere to be seen on the paintwork or throughout the interior. The Alcantara seats are especially good for a 14 year old car, with none of the “bobbling” or wear that can occur with this material. The wheels are unmarked, and the tyres are brand new.

On the road, BD08DEV performs very well indeed, the 245bhp 2.7-litre flat six providing scintillating performance, and the Carnewal exhaust backing this up with an epic soundtrack (not too loud, and with none of the resonance that can cause “booming” when on a constant throttle cruise). The 5-speed Tiptronic transmission delivers super-smooth gearchanges in both full auto mode and manually via the steering wheel buttons. The ride and handling are exemplary, the suspension feels fresh and tight, and the steering is precise and direct with great feel. The Brembo supplied brakes are powerful and progressive.
