A very nice low mileage 986 Boxster 2.7 with good service history and lots of recent works by the last owner, Y181CGP has covered just 72,500 miles in 21 years, on average fewer than 4,000 miles per year. The car has had just 4 owners from new, and was unusual in some respects as it was ordered with very few options – just extended leather to the dash and door cards, heated leather seats, on board computer and 17″ Boxster “twist spoke” wheels. No air conditioning, no storage box on the engine cover, and no wind deflector. It has a real lightweight, pared back feel with the roof down, a proper roadster! Looks great in classic Lapis Blue with black leather interior and hood.

The service history is good, with 11 stamps in the service record, all but one from Porsche Centres or recognised specialists. Recent maintenance works include front and rear disc and pads (2018), new front and rear lower suspension arms, front top mounts plus geometry (2018), starter motor and coil packs (2018), Variocam solenoid (2019), coolant header tank (2019), exhaust flange bolts (2019), door lock (2022), and air/oil separator (2022). The cabriolet hood and rear screen has also been replaced recently and is in perfect condition. A modern Pioneer head unit with DAB has been fitted to the car.

We have prepared the car for sale with a Minor service, brake fluid change, a new clutch and rear main seal (RMS), plus refurbishment of the alloy wheels. The car drives really nicely, with precise steering, strong performance and the perfectly balanced handling that mid engined Porsche are renowned for.
